The Asia Europe People's Forum will be held in Beijing from October 13 – 15, 2008. The AEPF is a bi-regional network composed of Asian and European NGOs and organizations that has been cooperating on issues concerning peace, participatory democracy, social justice, human rights, food sovereignty, sustainability and people's rights to self-determination. The AEPF is a space to link struggles and visions on alternatives from both regions.
The People's Forum is held every two years as a parallel event to the Asia Europe Meeting and it is alternately held in Asia and Europe. We are very excited that it will be in China this year and we are hoping that many Chinese organizations will participate to this event. Please visit the website at www.aepf7.org.cn
Participants must register before they can be allocated a slot to the event.
The deadline for registration is August 31 so please do your registration as soon as possible.
