Asia Report is pleased to announce the start of our 2nd online colloquium,
titled "Lessons Learned: Challenges for Grassroots NGOs". The
participants are Sara L.M. Davis, Ph.D. of Asia Catalyst, Yu Fangqiang of
Beijing YIRENPING Center, and David Cozac of Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal
Network. Dr. Davis will write about the challenges faced by grassroots
groups in general, ranging from governmental pressure to donor funding.
Yu Fangqiang and David Cozac will then talk about their own professional
experiences in the development of NGOs. We hope you'll join us for what
is shaping up to be an engaging and extremely relevant discussion.
